Q. Is bicycle a good transport?
A. Thank you for this question. Yes, I believe that a bicycle is indeed a great transport. It saves our valuable time, has health benefits, does not harm the environment and keep the riders safe on the road. It is perhaps the most eco-friendly transportation and this is why I like it so much.
Q. Do you think that there should be a separate lane for bicycles?
A. Yes, there should be a separate lane for bicycles in every city and town. It will help the bikers move smoothly across the cities and it would also encourage more people to use it. In fact, some countries already have this facility to inspire people to use this eco-friendly transport more often. Japan is one such country and a large proportion of the Japanese population use bicycles daily.
Q. Why should a child have a bicycle?
A. A child should have a bicycle so that he or she could learn to ride it and get engaged in some sort of physical activities to remain fit and healthy. In fact, if the bicycle riding habit is formed from an early age, the child will continue it in the future. Besides, learning to ride a bicycle is an immense joy that every child should experience.
Q. Do you ride a bicycle? [Why/Why not?]
A. Yes, I love to ride a bicycle. I still remember my childhood days when a bicycle was my best companion. Having a bicycle was like getting the world in my hand. I could go anywhere I liked and meet anyone I wanted. I still love to ride a bicycle but sadly I cannot ride it as frequently as I used to do in my early teenage.
These days, I use this transportation whenever I am on my way to college. Sometimes, I take it and ride for an hour or two on a weekend evening just to enjoy the thrill of riding it.

Sample Answer:
Barack Obama is an American attorney and politician who served as the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017, and I would love to meet him. His official name is Barack Hussein Obama and he served as one of the most successful Presidents for the USA. He is a Noble Laureate as well. In his presidency, he took numerous initiatives to change the lives of his countrymen. Before becoming the President, he served as a Senator in the USA. And as a President, he had remarkable contributions on the development of certain policies of the country. This is an interesting cue card task topic for me. I like the nice questions that allow me to describe this great man.
Barack Obama is famous for many reasons. The topmost reason is that he became the very first African-American to be the President of the United States of America, and his strong determination and perseverance have made him the President for the superpower of the world. He is also famous for his honesty, his loyalty to the nation and his contributions to the overall development of the USA. He took different policies to enhance the country’s diplomatic influence over the rival states and also performed many other noteworthy works like the "Obamacare", "Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization", job creation for the unemployed and so on. He also served a great role to improve the economy of the country.
Certainly, I would like to meet this famous personality to spend some time with him and to know more about this great person. He had a thrilling childhood and spent his days in different countries. He mostly attained national attention in 2004 after his run towards the position of a US Senate member. And once he became the president, he did not have to look behind. He climbed on the top of success. I want to learn about his life, now that he is no longer a president, and what are his plans for the nations and countrymen. So, I would like to meet him in person.
Part 3: Detail Discussion (Two-way discussion)
Q. What qualities should a famous person have?
A. I think honesty is the most important quality that a famous person should have. Usually, people become famous for some sort of unique and noticeable skills, talents, contributions and so on. Since a famous person has a voice that others listen to, the person must use it for the greater good of ordinary people.
Besides, the person should be prudent in his/her speech and talk and live an exemplary life so that fans can follow him/her. Finally, such a famous person should get engages in philanthropic works so that his or her contributions can make a difference in a positive way.
Q. Why do young generation copy them?
A. Youngsters revere famous people and want to be like them by all means. This is particularly true for sportsmen, musicians and movie stars who have a great number of fans. Their lifestyle, pile of wealth, public influence and media presence are often enviable to many youths and they often mimic them for this reason.
Besides, young people usually like to have a role model whom they can follow. For instance, young children who like to play football admire famous football players and often have their favourite player. And it is pretty natural that they want to be like him and copy him whenever possible.
Q. How some famous people set negative examples?
A. Well, a large number of celebrities are famous for their lavish lifestyles, beauty, wealth and obviously scandals. Different levels of scandals that make headlines can often negatively influence their ardent fans. They often create controversy with their speeches, actions and behaviours and this had a huge negative impact on youngsters who follow them blindly.
Besides, some celebrities do believe that they are above the law and thus violate rules and create a public nuisance. They also get involved in brawls with people, law enforcers and journalists in public places. And all such actions contribute largely to set negative examples to their fans.
Q. Who were the famous persons 50 years ago and who will be famous in the next 50 years?
A. Politicians, writers and artists were mostly famous around 50 years ago but the trend may change after a few decades. Nowadays, successful sportsmen, silver screen stars, musicians, writers and tech-gurus are most famous and venerated by ordinary people.
I wholeheartedly believe that more tech-people will occupy the place while the fame of politicians would decrease. Skilled sportsmen will still be famous after five decades or so.
Q. Should celebrities have a personal life like any ordinary citizen? [Why/Why not]
A. Of course, they should have a personal life. In fact, I personally abhor the way sometimes their personal life is invaded. They have every right to live their life as an ordinary person has. In fact, we should value their personal life as much as we do our own.
Q. If you get a chance to be famous what would be your attitude?
A. Well, I will try to be the same person in my behaviour and attitude with others as I am right now. Being famous in no way should make us arrogant and we should never forget our past. I will definitely be more cautious about what I say as I will be scrutinised for everything I say and do.
Furthermore, if I am famous for a particular skill or talent, I will practise really hard to maintain that skill and try to teach that skills to as many people as possible. Finally, if I earn a large amount of money, I will surely spend a portion of it for the greater good of others, especially for the underprivileged and destitute people around me.
