Model Answer 1: [Opinion: technologies can complement more traditional teaching without being used as a replacement]
How children study and learn today, both at home and school, are radically different from the past, and the increased availability and relatively low price of modern technology have been instrumental in this change. However, I feel that while modern technologies, such as computers and the Internet, are important in assisting a child's learning, this learning should be guided and directed by the experience of human teachers.
Proponents of technology in children's education say that technology can present knowledge in a vivid and novel way. They assert that computers and the Internet can enable students to enhance their general understanding of how to solve difficulties in their studies as well as give them vital skills for future life. With the technology, those children learn in a fun way and this learning is often more intuitive than the class lectures by the teachers.
On the contrary, traditional and long-established practice is for children to study and gain knowledge at school guided by teachers. Proponents of this method state that a school is a place where students gather to be educated and learn from each other, and taught by human educators which technology can not replace. At school, for instance, students' development is orchestrated stage by stage, step by step by experienced teachers, and their acquisition of knowledge is guided and backed up systematically.
In my opinion, technology can not teach children all by itself and it needs human intervention. The information shown to children has to be preprogrammed and needs constant updating by human teachers. This is why human teachers can teach students more effectively and they can use technology to teach even better.
To conclude, modern technologies can complement more traditional teaching and learning methods without being used as a replacement for traditional methods. It is expected that experienced teachers would teach children and use technology to better facilitate teaching and learning at schools.

Model Answer 2: [Opinion: conventional learning methods are important, but modern technology enhances students' learning experience]
The fast growth of technology has given rise to the debate of whether computers and the Internet are more beneficial than traditional methods of learning, such as classrooms and teachers. In this essay, I will discuss both viewpoints. But personally, I believe that while conventional methods of learning are important, modern technology can enhance students' learning experience to a great extent.
Some people believe that computers and the Internet are important tools in children's education. They argue that modern technology has made learning more interactive and efficient. For example, educational software and online platforms can provide a wide range of resources, such as videos, quizzes, and simulations, which can help students better understand complex concepts.
On the other hand, some people argue that students learn better in traditional classrooms with teachers. They argue that face-to-face interactions between teachers and students can provide immediate feedback and personalized attention to individual students. Additionally, traditional methods of learning can provide a more structured environment that can help students stay on track and develop self-discipline.
In my opinion, while traditional methods of learning are important, computers and Internet technology can definitely enhance students' learning experience. The ability to access a vast amount of information and resources, along with the interactive nature of modern educational technology, can help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the use of technology can better prepare students for the demands of the modern workforce, where technology skills are becoming increasingly important.
In conclusion, while traditional classrooms and teachers play an important role in education, computers and the Internet are valuable tools that can enhance students' learning experiences. It is expected that we will use those technologies to improve our teaching and learning methods but not use technology as a replacement for traditional learning methods.
When we are confused about some knowledge, we perhaps do not need to seek help from others; when you think your teacher does not teach well, you can find some famous teachers' teaching videos online. From these aspects, the Internet is good for students.
Nevertheless, I still hold the view that education is not only about teaching students knowledge but also about making students have great personalities. In school, students study together rather than alone, which improves their study efficiency, competing awareness, and ability to cooperate with others. Teachers in school may not be perfect, but they are qualified and systematically trained; instead, online teachers are not, so there's a risk that they may mislead the students.
Therefore, if someone asks me which I think is more important for studying between the Internet and school, I will answer that school is more important. In addition, we should not take extreme attitudes toward things, we should take advantage of the Internet as well, or how can we call us modern people?
To conclude, we should improve our studies by multiple means, and remember studying in school is the most important.

My essay:
Whether or not computers and the Internet should be introduced and widely used in education is often discussed these days. Whilst some people insist that the use of technology is arguably important in students’ study, others believe that students should be taught by experienced human teachers in schools. In my view, technology should be incorporated into a long-established teaching method for reaping the maximum benefit.
The most important reason why the use of technology in education is crucial is its flexibility. The coronavirus pandemic has taught us that using computers is a lifesaver. Without state-of-the-art technology, students would not be able to study safely. Furthermore, the use of the Internet provides students with a wide range of information. On YouTube, for example, there are plenty of educational videos that share knowledge. By taking full advantage of the Internet, it is evident that students can study more efficiently.
Having said that, using computers and the Internet in students’ studies entails some drawbacks. In recent years, there has been an upsurge in the number of internet users. With this trend, the amount of fake and unreliable information has been increasing, which causes huge confusion among learners. For instance, Wikipedia which is a website edited by people around the world is a treacherous source of information. If students were to trust the website, they might obtain the wrong information. Moreover, computers and smartphones emit blue light that impairs people’s eyesight. If students use computers all day to study, their eyes will be burdened. Considering the fact that it is not easier said than done to recover our eyesight, we should not rely too much on technology.
In conclusion, the Internet not only provides students with useful information, but it also enables students to learn whenever and wherever they want. However, students might be confused by fake news and information available on the internet, and their eyesight might also be damaged with its radiation. Taking these upsides and downsides into account, it is preferable that technology is used to supplement traditional teaching.

Essay Sample:
The use of computers has tremendously upsurged in the modern-day education system. Whilst several people believe that using these machines would be effective for students' learning, others opine that the traditional schooling system is far better. This essay will discuss both perspectives. In my opinion, using computers would result in better learning facility and performance for children.
Children's learning in the old-school method benefits them under the guidance of experienced teachers. Because of these scholars vast knowledge and experience on the subject matter and students capability, they can impart their experience and get students ready for real-life situations through their guidance, opinions, mentorship and lessons. Moreover, they can interact with each and every pupil and explain the concepts to them clearly. For instance, my science teacher during my schooling used to explain the concepts of physics in an intuitive manner which helped me to master the subject and score good marks in the examination. Hence, it is imperative that the old-fashioned way of learning would reap good results for the learners.
Nevertheless, computers add a new dimension to the art and science of teaching and learning. They not only help in visualizing the concepts that make it is simpler for children to grasp but also help youngsters located in remote locations to get the opportunity to learn from great programmes and teachers. For example, several educational institutions opted online classes during the current corona pandemic situation, thus helping students to continue with their academics which would not have been possible via traditional classroom settings. In addition, complex topics like dissection can be shown without the need for the actual killing of animals. Therefore, it is evident that using computers would benefit students to a much larger extent.
To conclude, using computer devices is becoming increasingly popular in current-day education methodologies. Even though coaching youngsters in a classroom with the help of a teacher is beneficial, using these devices would bring in additional advantages as well.
