Model Answer 1:
The diagram outlines the sleep pattern of students, truck drivers, mothers, business executives and doctors in a typical day. Generally speaking, students and business executives have a steady sleep pattern while others sleep in a scattered fashion.
It is explicitly observed that students usually sleep 8 hours a day, from 11.00 pm to 7.00 am, without any interruption and their duration of rest is higher than people from other professions. Business executives have a continuous nap schedule but they sleep only 6 hours, from 11 pm to 5 pm. Truck drivers seem like have the most sporadic sleep schedule and they sleep 6 hours a day in a scattered way in the early morning and evening time. A similar rest agenda could be observed for full-time mothers who take rest 8 hours a day but at three different times of the day. They are usually awake at mid-night as do the truck drivers. Finally, doctors sleep only 5 hours a day, the least among the given categories, and they sleep from late night till early morning with the exception of 3-4 in the morning when they remain awake.
Sample Answer 2:
The provided data shows the sleeping pattern of people of different occupations based on a Canadian study. As is observed from the given information, the timing and total hours of sleeping varies based on the occupation group of people
Firstly, students sleep 8 hours a day and their average sleeping hours are from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Secondly, Truck drivers sleep on different times of a day possibly because of their job nature and variation of driving schedules and they sleep around 6 hours a day. Again, full-time mothers sleep from 10 pm and with some intervals they also show a variation on sleeping times and in total they sleep 8 hours a day. Business executives sleep 6 hours a day but they have a consistent sleeping pattern like the students and they sleep from 11.00 pm to 5:00 am on an average. Finally, the doctors sleep fewer hours than people from other occupation. They sleep from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. with an interval of one hour.
In summary, the sleeping patterns vary based on the occupation of the people and students & full-time mothers sleep more hours in a day while doctors sleep comparatively less among the different categories of people.
Model Answer 3:
The given illustration demonstrates sleep patterns of students, full-time mothers, truck drivers, doctors and business executives based on a study conducted in Canada. As is observed, people’s sleeping time and duration vary greatly based on their occupations.
As is given in the chart, students have a steady and uninterrupted sleeping pattern. They usually sleep between 11 pm and 7 pm and this is probably because they have to attend classes during the daytime. The truck drivers sleep at different times of the day and they do not sleep for long hours. They sleep fewer hours than the students but more than doctors. The most probable reason for this is unfixed duty at different times of the day. Then comes the full-time mothers who also have an inconsistent sleeping pattern and they need to take care of their children and that is why they remain awake from 1-3 am which should have been the time for sound sleep. Business executives, on the other hand, sleep more than the doctors but less than the students. They sleep continuous hours between 11 pm and 5 am. Since they need to remain busy at their workplaces, they try to sleep at night time. Finally, doctors have the most erratic sleeping pattern and they sleep fewer hours than others. They go to bed at 1 am and awake at 7 am. But the 3-4 am sleeping pattern for doctors shows that they need to remain awake at these hours.
As is observed, students and full-time mothers sleep more hours than the people with other three occupations, while doctors sleep very few hours - just 5-hours a day.
As is presented, the student sleeps consecutive 8-hours at night while a full-time mother takes rest 6 hours at night from 10 pm to 6 am with excluding two hours from 1 am to 3 am then two hours at mid-day from 1 to 2 pm. Besides, truck drivers and business executives take 6-hours for sleeping but the main difference is that business executives sleep consecutive 6-hours and a truck driver's sleeping pattern is divided into many portions i.e. from 6 pm to 7 pm then at morning 7 am to 10 am and at evening 4 pm to 6 pm. On the contrary, doctors sleep only 5 hours at night from 1 am to 7 am excluding one hour between 3 am to 4 am.
In brief, the students sleep more and continuously at night - 8 hours, but doctors face a very tough routine having only 5 hours sleep per 24 hours.
