The chart below shows the changes in sales of four different types of books from 2002 to 2012.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Sample Answer 1:
The bar graph compares the sales of four book genres between 2002 to 2012. Overall, history books vend increased remarkably while the admiration for hobby related books declined over the period.
As is presented in the illustration, history books had the highest demand in the market as it made more than 4000 trades in 2002. In this year the sale of hobby related books was the lowest, less than 1000, while entertainment and art books each recorded around 2000 sales volume. After 4 years, history books trade doubled while art and entertainment categories each made approximately 3000 sales. Hobby books’ demand slightly increased in 2002 but dropped in 2004. In all the following years, the sales of hobby books remained constant and had always been the lowest around 200 sales. On the contrary, history books’ sale reached to over 10,000 in 2008, the peak for the sale of any genre of books, and finally stood at around 9.5 thousand in 2012. Moreover, demand for entertainment and art books were almost the same in 2006 and 2008, just over 3000, but on the subsequent years, art books sales outranked the entertainment books sales.

The bar graph compares the deviations in sales of four different book genres for a decade, from 2002 to 2012.
Overall, the sales of three given categories - history, entertainment and art books showed a rising trend except for hobby related books while the demand for history books was the highest.
In particular, history books were the biggest sellers with a sale volume of around 4500 copies in 2002. This publication made the highest selling record in 2008 with ten thousand sales and then in subsequent years witnessed a slight drop. In 2012, over 9000 history books were sold.
The sales of art and entertainment books in 2002 were around 2 thousand copies, approximately half of the history book sales and showed an overall progress in the following years. Approximately 3000 copies of each of these two genres were sold in 2008 which was relatively higher than the previous year's sales. Finally, in 2012 the demand for art books increased to 4000 while the former one was sale volume stood at nearly 3000. On the contrary, hobbies book category recorded the least sale, remained between 500 to 700 in the given period.
To begin with, entertainment books and history books showed similar patterns, both's sales increased gradually from 2002 to 2008, and moderately decreased between 2008 and 2010. However, the purchases of history book remained consistently higher than those of entertainment category. At the beginning of 2002, approximately 40,000 historical books were sold, and this number significantly increased by 2012 to reach 90,000 sales. On the contrary, sales of entertainment books marginally rose of 800 over the period. We can see that the sales of entertainment books, art book, and hobbies books had the same trend. Their sales volume remained stable from 2006 to 2008. However, among them, hobbies books were the least purchased products. Over the time, selling of hobbies books steadily declined, it reached around just 200 sales.

To begin with, history books' sales soared with time except for 2010 when a slight decrease happened. Entertainment books' sales, on the other hand, fluctuated during the last four years, from 2006-2012, after climbing in the previous years. Hobby-related books have the least sales with a sale volume less than 1,000 as an average.
However, art-related books peaked at 4,000 sales volume each year between 2010 and 2012 while it increased modestly over the first six years.
