Model Answer 1:
Living in an environment full of air pollution, noise and the hustle and bustle of city life, I have always wanted to live in a secluded place close to a clear lake surrounded by trees, but certainly not too far away from the city centre. In other words, my dream home should be located in one of the quiet suburbs within a driving distance of the city so that I could have the best of both living - the city life as well as the countryside life.
To be more precise about the house, it should have two floors with balconies all around so that I could look over the trees and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. I don’t exactly prefer any “colour pollution”, so my dream home should be painted with light colour paints from both inside and outside in order to provide it with a “sublime” look. Also, I want my dream home to have a perfectly designed interior with a large space inside. The exterior of the home should have the design and look of a “bungalow”, but it won’t be exactly a bungalow. I also want to make sure the windows of my dream home are designed and placed in such a way that the interior of my home receives enough light and air from all directions at all times.
Finally, my dream home should be a “modern-day” residence with all kinds of facilities such as large bedrooms, a large guestroom complete with bathroom, storage, TV and mini-fridge, a large dining space, a large kitchen with personal pantry storage, laundry facilities and a small, nice computer lounge and so on. All of my washrooms should be equipped with bathtubs.
It would be my dream home primarily because this is the place where I would want to come back at the end of the day no matter where I am. My sweet home will be my perfect dream home because it will be built to offer me security and comfort like no other place in the world. I would call it my dream home also because this would be the place where I would be able to live with all of my family members in peace and harmony without being the subjects of unnecessary noise and disturbances. Finally, I would call it my perfect dream home because it would allow me an opportunity to interact with Mother Nature in seclusion by sitting close to the lake.

Introduction:
I would like to thank you for allowing me the opportunity to talk about my idea of a dream house that would be ideal for me to live in. Well, to be honest, my idea of a perfect home transcends mere bricks and mortar; it embodies a sanctuary where comfort, tranquillity, and functionality harmoniously converge to create an idyllic haven for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Where it would be located:
Nestled amidst the serene embrace of nature, my dream house would be ensconced within a lush, verdant landscape, perhaps perched atop a gentle slope overlooking a tranquil lake or nestled within a secluded forest glade. Its location would offer a respite from the hustle and bustle of urban life, providing a sanctuary where I could unwind and reconnect with the natural world.
What it would look like:
Architecturally, my dream house would exude timeless elegance, blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings while boasting modern design elements that offer both aesthetic appeal and functionality. A sprawling, single-story layout characterized by clean lines, expansive windows, and minimalist aesthetics would imbue the home with an airy, open feel, inviting ample natural light and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
What facilities this house would have:
Internally, the house would feature spacious, light-filled living areas adorned with tasteful furnishings and thoughtful design touches, creating inviting spaces for relaxation, entertainment, and reflection. A state-of-the-art kitchen equipped with high-end appliances and ample counter space would serve as the heart of the home, where culinary delights are crafted and shared with loved ones. Additionally, a cosy home office or library, complete with a crackling fireplace and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, would provide a tranquil retreat for quiet contemplation and productivity.
Why this would be your perfect/dream house:
For me, this dream house represents more than just a physical dwelling; it embodies a sanctuary where cherished memories are forged, and life's most precious moments are savoured. Its idyllic setting and thoughtfully designed spaces offer a canvas upon which to create a life of fulfilment, creativity, and contentment. Whether basking in the warmth of the morning sun on the terrace, hosting gatherings of friends and family in the spacious living areas, or retreating to the solitude of the garden for moments of quiet reflection, this dream house epitomizes the essence of home—a place where the soul finds solace, and the heart finds peace.
