Not sure why they say that no news is good news. Then again, there is just so many depressing and negative news ruling the world of today’s media, be it on the internet, TV or newspapers, it is just hard to disagree except, of course, there is news of different “kinds” which is full of life and positivity.
Today, I will talk about such a piece of news that I read on the internet about a couple of months ago at my work while doing some work-related research.
The news was about how a group of generous grocery business owners in my hometown decided to donate at least 50% of their profits to the poor and needy people in our town for whole one month every year. I read the news and more details about it on a local news portal, and it would be almost three or four months ago.
I took the news as a very positive development in the attitude of our business owners who, up until then, were not very famous for their ”generosity”. I knew that it was good for average citizens who were struggling to keep up with the increasing inflation in their daily lives. In fact, after reading the news, I decided to find out more about it and then spread it among my friends and relatives. Later on, I, along with some of my friends, took some initiatives to convince other business owners as well, who were involved with other kinds of businesses except grocery, to do the same. Besides, I also wrote to the local tax authority in order to offer such business owners a good “tax break” for their magnanimity.
Anyway, after reading the news, my first reaction was to give them a big “thank you” immediately for displaying such a nice “gesture” of help toward the less privileged section of our society. In fact, I became a bit emotional as well because of such a great act of benevolence which surely would help many struggling families in my town to make their ends meet. But, above all, I was actually very proud of our fellow business community who showed the way to share with each other.

Well, one piece of good news that I vividly remember reading on the internet was about a breakthrough in medical research regarding a potential treatment for a rare genetic disorder. I stumbled upon this news article while browsing through my social media feed one evening which would be about six to seven months ago.
The article highlighted the efforts of scientists who had been tirelessly working to develop a treatment for the genetic disorder, which had previously been considered incurable. According to the report, preliminary trials of the new treatment had shown promising results, offering hope to patients and their families worldwide.
Learning about this breakthrough was incredibly uplifting and heartwarming. As someone who believes in the power of scientific innovation to improve lives, I was filled with a sense of optimism and relief knowing that there was now a glimmer of hope for those affected by the disorder.
The news affected me on a deeply emotional level, as I couldn't help but empathize with the individuals and families who had been grappling with the challenges posed by the genetic disorder. Knowing that there was potential progress on the horizon brought a sense of reassurance and comfort, not just to me but to countless others who had been following the developments closely.
Overall, the news filled me with a renewed sense of hope and faith in the resilience of the human spirit. It served as a powerful reminder of the profound impact that scientific advancements can have on our lives and underscored the importance of continued research and innovation in the field of medicine.
